“Africa for me is a touching feeling. It is a deep place in the soul and heart. Everything that comes from there is alive and filled with infinite beauty. (…) I can never be rational about Africa: it is a land I love unconditionally.”
This is the emotion underlying the birth of the M’Afrique collection, the range of outdoor products for Moroso, introduced in 2009 and which this year celebrates its tenth anniversary with about twenty products, all entirely handmade and drawn by some of the greatest international designers.
Made in Senegal at M’Afrique Atelierby Abdou Salam Gaye, the M’Afrique collection is designed by Tord Boontje, Dominique Pétot, Ayse Birsel and Bibi Seck, Marc Thorpe, Patricia Urquiola, Federica Capitani, Concetta Giannangeli, David Weeks and Martino Gamper.
